Out of surgery

Ang is out of surgery, not awake yet. The Doctor said that it went well. He removed some of the large intestine, that looked dead and/or cancerous, and has reversed the ileostomy. There were some small cancer cells visible on her abdominal wall in the recent scans. Before surgery Ang and the doctor agreed that if he had clear sight and a easy removal was possible he would remove them. At the time that I talked to Steve, he did not provide an update on whether or not he had touched the abdominal wall area. Suspect we will get a full debrief from Ang once the Doctor has his post op meeting with her. Expected stay is 5 days (Tuesday discharge). Knowing Ang, she'll be home Sunday. Stay tuned.
